Restaurant Märzenklamm

Hotel & Restaurant in Stumm

Our Märzenklamm, located directly on the eponymous Märzenbach stream, is a retreat in the nature of the Zillertal Alps, where time becomes tangible again. We look back on a history of living tradition. Food is at the heart of our lives. Each generation shapes our cuisine and the Zillertal. Anton Pfister focuses on the culinary diversity of the region in his restaurant – and it's a hit.

Sustainability & regionality

Green Hotel

Sustainability and regionality are values that are lived out at Gasthof Märzenklamm: from regional food and our own photovoltaic system to resource-saving cleaning, we focus on environmentally friendly solutions – awarded the Austrian Ecolabel.

The Hearts Behind the Work

We’re hosts at heart. A warm welcome, sharing a smile, offering a tip for the mountains or a heartfelt dish - that's our joy. We honor tradition, embrace new ideas, and create moments that linger. That’s our promise.

  • I have been coming here every year for my winter holiday since 2013. It has a family atmosphere, you are welcomed with open arms and immediately feel at home. All the staff are friendly, courteous, helpful and always in a good mood. The kitchen team does a great job; we've never had a meal we didn't enjoy. The Gasthof Märzenklamm has been steadily expanding and improving in recent years. We can only recommend it.

  • Superb, family-run hotel. Great, attentive service at reception and in the restaurant. Very good food. Beautiful, well-maintained sauna area. Great room, very well maintained. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

  • We (unfortunately) only stayed for one night during a skiing trip and were given a warm welcome. Room 212 has been completely renovated with a huge bathroom, large shower and separate toilet. The bed was excellent. The rooftop sauna was well equipped. The breakfast selection was really large and delicious. Highly recommended and worth repeating!

  • The rooms are beautifully furnished, the beds are comfortable and everything is clean. There are lovingly designed alcoves throughout the hotel. The spa area is wonderful, with two saunas, two relaxation rooms and a large sun terrace – I really enjoyed it. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. À la carte dinner: delicious. All in all, highly recommended.
